In yet another addition to the crowded genre, this film features Yogi Babu in a leading role, yet the execution falls painfully short. Director Bhuvan R Nallan struggles to capitalize on the comedic talent of Babu, instead delivering a lackluster narrative devoid of engaging humor or storytelling. The attempts at comedy fall flat, with jokes like rhyming “PUBG” with “bhajjis” failing to land.
Despite a promising premise, the film descends further into mediocrity as it progresses, with absurdities like characters resorting to cross-dressing to evade zombies only exacerbating its lack of substance. Even the presence of talented actors fails to salvage the film from its own shortcomings.
The film’s insensitivity is glaringly apparent, exemplified by a scene featuring TM Karthik, who was embroiled in the #MeToo movement, questioning another character’s conduct with women. By the conclusion, viewers may find themselves longing for a zombie bite over enduring the painful tedium of this film.
