Britney Spears clarified that she only twisted her ankle and did not experience a mental breakdown.
Recent images of Britney Spears have sparked concern among her fans regarding her well-being. She was photographed leaving Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles in what witnesses described as a “distressed state” after an alleged argument with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz, on Wednesday night.
In the circulating images on social media, the pop star appeared barefoot, wrapped in a blanket, and seemingly topless, clutching a white pillow to her chest with security personnel nearby.
TMZ reported that Britney was shouting and behaving erratically in the hotel hallway, leading some guests to believe she was experiencing a “mental breakdown,” prompting the arrival of paramedics. A spokesperson for the LAPD fire department confirmed to Page Six that an ambulance was dispatched to the LA hotel around midnight on Thursday.
However, Britney took to social media to refute reports of a mental breakdown, stating that she simply twisted her ankle and did not require assistance.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Britney posted, “Just to clarify, the news is false… I request respect during this time as I continue to strengthen myself every day!!! Truth is hard, so can someone teach me how to lie??? To all the goddesses out there, I’m tapping into my higher power, and I hope you all are too!!! Right now, I need a new toothbrush!!! PS: Also, craving an espresso!!! PSS: Not sure why I’m sharing this… I guess I’m just a girl, and I’m feeling moody because it’s that time of the month… Damn!!! (sic).”
She then addressed an incident where she twisted her ankle the previous night, claiming that paramedics had arrived at her door “illegally,” along with sharing a video displaying her swollen ankle. In a cryptic post about her mother, Britney expressed suspicion, alleging, “I know my mom was involved!!! I haven’t spoken to her in 6 months, and she called immediately after it happened, even before the news broke!!! I was set up, just like she did in the past!!! I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! Honestly, I don’t care, I’ll say it 👍🏻🤷🏼♀️!!! Psss this man is wonderful!!! He’s like a father to me, and he got me through last night!!! I adore and admire you, Mister Mathew!!!” Britney concluded by stating, “They never entered my room, but I felt completely harassed. I’m relocating to Boston. Peace.”
