However, the show retains its regressive elements, such as consulting a pandit to address supposed marriage compatibility issues for individuals like 34-year-old Akshay. Despite Seema Taparia’s makeover and the show’s polished production values, her expertise in matchmaking remains questionable. The series maintains its urban and high-class appeal, whether showcasing locations in Nashik or New Jersey. However, it’s worth noting that not everyone can afford a celebrity matchmaker like Seema, who isn’t afraid to offer candid advice, such as admonishing a client for placing too much emphasis on physical appearance.
