Wild Wild Punjab (Netflix) Review :-

Wild Wild Punjab (Netflix) follows Rajesh Khanna, aka Khanne (Varun Sharma), who, heartbroken, decides to crash his girlfriend Vaishali’s (Asheema Vardaan) wedding in Pathankot to declare, “I am over you.” He’s joined by his eccentric friends—Honey Paaji (Manjot Singh), Maan Arora, aka Arore (Sunny Singh), and Gaurav Jain, aka Jainu (Jassie Gill). Along the way, Radha (Patralekhaa) and Meera (Ishita Raj) join their misadventures, transforming a 3-hour drive into a whirlwind of unexpected detours. The film captures their chaotic journey as they race against the clock to reach the wedding in just 28 hours.

Directed by Simarpreet Singh, known for web series like College Romance and Half Love Half Arranged, and with a story by Luv Ranjan (of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar), WWP aims to keep audiences laughing for its entire 110-minute runtime. While the plot may be predictable, the film excels with sharp dialogues and strong performances. Memorable lines, such as when the gang forgets the previous night and jokes, “‘Hangover’ movie thodi hai, real mein nahi hota yeh sab,” along with one-liners like “stretchable hai ladki (instead of flexible),” add to the humor.

Wild Wild Punjab (Netflix) Trailor :-

The film is entertaining but has its flaws. It includes typical slapstick comedy and loud, over-the-top characters, such as gun-toting mafias. However, the fast-paced narrative keeps viewers engaged, even during some drawn-out scenes.

Sunny Singh, introduced as “Kaam Dev ki najaaiz aulaad,” delivers a solid performance as Arore, who falls for every girl he encounters. His portrayal is reminiscent of Vicky Kaushal’s character in Manmarziyan, though Arore lacks depth. Jassie Gill shines as the obedient

Babuji ka eklauta beta features Gopal Dutt as Khanne’s father, delivering an irritating yet fantastic performance. Varun Sharma shines as the heartbroken Khanne, bringing the film’s best dialogues to life (don’t miss his Punjabi boliyan in the climax), though his character feels like an extension of his role as Choocha from Fukrey. Manjot Singh completes the group as the devoted “Punjabi Shravan Kumar,” committed to his father and his beloved car, Paro. Patralekhaa, Ishita Raj, Asheema Vardaan, and Rajesh Sharma all contribute to the comedic dynamics of the gang.

Set in Punjab, the film features lively tracks like “Meri Baggi Mera Ghoda” by Bali and “Husn Irani” by Guru Randhawa. Hitesh Sonik’s music adds to the energetic atmosphere, while Nigam Bomzan’s cinematography beautifully captures Punjab’s vibrant culture.

In essence, WWP is a blend of films like Fukrey, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and Hangover, delivering familiar yet entertaining drama and misadventures. Despite its predictability and some exaggerated slapstick moments, the film maintains a brisk pace and provides a fun viewing experience.
