Untamed (Netflix) Review :-
Untamed opens with a chilling and unsettling incident, setting the tone for the terror that unfolds in later episodes. One of the series’ greatest strengths is its breathtaking portrayal of Yosemite National Park—the creators masterfully use the stunning landscapes to enhance the mood. The sweeping views of cliffs, dense forests, and uncharted wilderness serve as both a refuge and a source of fear. The sense of isolation and tension is palpable, and the looming murder only deepens the unease.
Beyond the breathtaking landscape, Eric Bana stands out as another strong pillar of the series. He plays a gruff detective—taciturn and socially awkward but deeply connected to nature—and Bana embodies the role perfectly. Alongside him, Lily Santiago shines as Naya Vasquez, a rookie ranger whose curiosity and innocence make her a relatable and compelling presence.
One of the series’ strongest points is how effectively it builds and sustains a gripping mystery throughout. Blending suspense with emotional depth, the story feels both relatable and compelling, keeping us on the edge of our seats as we follow Kyle, Naya, and the others in the park. The show also sprinkles in moments of dark humor that add an unexpected charm—sometimes hilarious, these lighter touches enrich the overall experience.
Untamed (Netflix) Trailor :-
That said, the series isn’t without its flaws. It relies on several familiar tropes, and honestly, trimming an episode or two might have tightened the pacing considerably. Some conversations drag on longer than necessary and feel a bit predictable, causing moments of disengagement. Still, despite these shortcomings, it remains an enjoyable watch overall.
Final Thought
Despite a few slow patches, Untamed remains a gripping and intense experience, driven by striking cinematography and committed performances. The series balances thrills with genuine emotion, keeping you eagerly guessing what will happen next.
“Untamed” is now streaming on Netflix.
