Two Graves (Netflix) Review :-

In Netflix’s Two Graves, a grieving grandmother sets out to uncover the truth behind her granddaughter’s disappearance two years earlier—and to seek revenge. But as her quest unfolds, she realizes too late that the price of justice is far higher than she ever anticipated. With just three episodes, the series is fast-paced and packed with detail, delivering a gripping story in a tight runtime. And while the ending may leave viewers raising an eyebrow, it’s a satisfying ride from start to finish.

The short, snappy runtime helps smooth over some of the series’ rough edges. While certain moments—especially involving the police’s incompetence and Rafael’s powers—stretch believability, the brisk pacing and solid presentation keep viewers engaged.

Its biggest strength truly is its runtime. Though it rushes through plotlines and skips over some details, it never lingers unnecessarily. Instead, it barrels forward, ultimately focusing more on an emotional story about family than a traditional revenge thriller. Isabel’s mission is easy to root for—she’s a 70-year-old grandmother driven by love for her granddaughter—and when she finally takes up arms, it delivers just the right amount of thrill.

And you know what? I was all in. I found myself cheering for Isabel like my life depended on it—not just because the series builds genuine sympathy for her, but because she’s unapologetically bold, slipping sleeping pills into drinks without a second thought and carrying herself with pure grit. Kiti Mánver is brilliant in the role, bringing depth and charisma to every scene. Álvaro Morte is equally compelling as a grieving, dangerous father haunted by loss.

That said, the series doesn’t offer much in terms of lasting impact. The twists are minimal, and the final conflict feels predictable. It’s entertaining in the moment, but not particularly memorable. Still, Two Graves raises an important question: is revenge ever truly worth it? As Isabel’s quest for truth unravels, her cold determination isolates her and puts her own family at risk. And in doing so, the series subtly asks viewers to examine their own instincts for blame and retribution—making it more thought-provoking than it initially lets on.

Final Thought

If you’re looking for a quick, straightforward, and moderately bloody watch this weekend, Two Graves fits the bill. It leans more on emotional impact than on adrenaline-pumping thrills and may be forgettable in the long run—but it’s enjoyable while it lasts and won’t leave you feeling disappointed if you don’t dig too deep.
