Twisters Review :-

Thirty years after the blockbuster Twister, the storm returns in Twisters. This standalone sequel centers on Kate Cooper (Daisy Edgar-Jones), a young meteorologist who left storm chasing behind after a devastating tornado claimed her friends and her partner. Now, the winds of fate draw her back into the chaos.

Five years after a near-fatal tornado, Kate has found peace predicting storms from New York’s MET office. Her storm-chasing days in Oklahoma seem like a distant past until her old friend Javi (Anthony Ramos) shows up with an urgent request. He persuades her to test a revolutionary new tracking system. Reluctantly, Kate agrees and soon meets Tyler Owens (Glen Powell), a reckless YouTuber who leads a team chasing the most dangerous tornadoes for his channel. As the storms become more intense, Kate is forced to team up with Tyler, though she struggles to understand why.

Twisters excels in dramatic visuals and adrenaline-fueled adventure. The film’s opening scene is captivating, vividly showcasing the raw power of a tornado. However, as the story unfolds, it becomes weighed down by lengthy, verbose scenes that slow the pace. While the action ramps up towards the end, it struggles to create a strong connection with its characters, particularly Tyler and his team. Glen Powell’s attempt at charm feels forced and over-the-top, though his chemistry with Daisy Edgar-Jones, who delivers a strong performance as the resilient Kate, remains engaging. Anthony Ramos, a Golden Globe nominee, makes a memorable impact with his heartfelt portrayal of Javi, whose intentions are clear despite questionable actions.

Twisters Trailor :-

Director Lee Isaac Chung and writers Mark L. Smith, Joseph Kosinski, and Michael Crichton set the stage for epic natural disasters but fail to consistently convey the romanticism of tornadoes and hurricanes, making some character interactions seem unrealistic. Despite this, the film offers impressive visual effects. Cinematographer Dan Mindel’s portrayal of the twisters provides a thrilling visual experience. However, the film’s emotional depth falls short. Composer Benjamin Wallfisch’s score adds a musical touch but lacks memorable impact.

Overall, Twisters is a solid entry in the disaster film genre. With more emotional depth and conviction, it could have been a standout cinematic experience.
