Trouble (Netflix) Review :-

The premise of the movie, where our protagonist Conny remains oblivious to a murder while installing a TV at a customer’s house and ends up holding the murder weapon after being knocked on the head, requires a suspension of disbelief to be digestible. It strains credulity that noise-cancelling headphones could mask a murder happening nearby, but sometimes we must relinquish reality for the sake of entertainment. Netflix’s Trouble is a hilariously awkward comedy centered on Filip Berg’s portrayal of Conny, a hapless and bewildered man plagued by seemingly perpetual misfortune.

Berg delivers a standout performance, infusing Conny with dry humor that proves genuinely amusing. Despite consistently making poor choices and finding himself in increasingly dire predicaments, Conny manages to extricate himself in the most improbable ways. Amidst the chaos, a palpable tension underpins the narrative, keeping viewers engaged. While certain elements may stretch believability, the film strikes the right tone, supported by unexpected twists that sustain interest throughout its runtime.

The unraveling of the mystery surrounding Luka’s death is captivating, complemented by moments of silly humor that elicit occasional chuckles. While I acknowledge this style may not appeal to everyone, if you enjoy subtle and goofy comedy, this film will certainly keep you engaged. A pivotal moment occurs midway through, as Conny evades the police, revealing a shocking twist that will leave you astonished—an uncommon occurrence in many films.

The warm relationship between Conny and Diana is endearing, marked by palpable chemistry that evokes smiles. Conny’s unwavering commitment to doing right by his daughter serves as his primary driving force, fostering empathy and garnering support for his character despite his escapades. Additionally, Norinder and Musse, portrayed by Dejan Čukić and Joakim Sällquist, respectively, inject hilarious moments into the film. Sällquist, in particular, shines as the trigger-happy inmate turned prison escapee, significantly lightening the film’s mood.

Trouble (Netflix) Trailor :-

However, it’s in the second half where the film starts to feel overwhelming. The increasingly convoluted plot jumps from one absurd scenario to the next, straining credibility more with each turn. Despite the clever setup of the storyline, which keeps the central mystery intriguing, certain middle scenes come across as contrived and frantic, prompting you to anticipate the next scene. While it doesn’t derail the film entirely, it ventures a bit too far into the realm of implausibility to be fully convincing.seriously.

Final Thought

Despite a few unnecessary moments, I thoroughly enjoyed Trouble. The twists are both entertaining and gripping, complemented by a blend of uncomfortable yet silly comedy that proves amusing. The performances, particularly Filip Berg’s, stand out—his nonchalant demeanor amidst the onscreen chaos is a stark and effective contrast. Overall, it’s a thoroughly entertaining watch.
