Following the success of Munjya (2024), director Aditya Sarpotdar makes a comeback to the OTT realm with The Secret of the Shiledars, a captivating adventure series that weaves together history, fantasy, and intrigue. Based on Dr. Prakash Koyade’s Marathi novel Pratipaschandra, the series invites viewers on an exhilarating journey brimming with hidden motives, mysterious clues, and unexpected turns. With its breathtaking visuals and immersive storytelling, it raises a compelling question: Can the Shiledars safeguard Shivaji’s treasure, or will adversaries thwart their mission?
At its core, the narrative unveils a clandestine society entrusted with protecting Shivaji’s riches—especially his fabled golden throne—for generations. Krishnakant (Dilip Prabhavalkar) searches for the next Shiledar (warrior) and identifies his successor in history enthusiast Ravi (Rajeev Khandelwal).
