The Legacy of the Raisingghs - Kull (JioHotstar) Review :-

When the patriarch of a royal family dies, the dysfunctional members find themselves in bitter conflict, revealing their true colours. The drama escalates with each episode, growing increasingly unsettling as tensions rise. If you enjoy watching people argue over petty matters and make reckless decisions, this series will be right up your alley.

The Legacy of the Raisingghs: Kull is as chaotic as its characters. The storyline and characters come and go at random, with no real effort to maintain any consistency. Plot points and characters are introduced only to be abandoned without explanation, resurfacing later when it’s convenient for the story, only to disappear again just as quickly.

Watching the series feels like a fever dream—nothing seems to make sense. Characters endlessly bicker over the same trivial things, offering entertainment but no real progression to the plot. The show sets up moments that seem crucial, only to abandon them moments later as if they never mattered. This erratic storytelling isn’t just frustrating; it’s confusing. It’s hard to grasp what the story’s main goal is when the creators themselves seem uncertain of it.

As a result, The Legacy of the Raisingghs: Kull ends up feeling half-baked and completely disjointed. The characters behave in such erratic, over-the-top ways that they become hard to believe. One standout moment involves Amol Parashar’s character, Abhimanyu, snorting cocaine from the table as casually as if it were powdered sugar. This dramatic flair, while attention-grabbing, often feels forced—characters make decisions simply to provoke a reaction from the audience rather than out of logical motivation.

The performances are the one bright spot in the series. Amol Parashar shines as the entitled Prince of the Raisingghs, bringing a captivating energy to his role, while his equally dysfunctional older sister, Indrani, plays a perfect partner in chaos. Together, they create a compelling sibling dynamic full of misfortune. Unfortunately, Ridhi Dogra and Gaurav Arora feel more like placeholders— their characters come and go as the plot demands, lacking depth or any sense of realness.

The Legacy of the Raisingghs - Kull (JioHotstar) Trailor :-

Despite everything I’ve mentioned, I was strangely hooked on this ridiculous show. As I said earlier, it’s perfect for anyone who loves drama, and despite its terrible storytelling, I couldn’t look away from the escalating chaos that only grew wilder with each scene. Was it worth the four hours I spent on content that’s undeniably bad and that I’ll never get back? Probably not. But here we are.

Final Thought

Kull on Hotstar is downright awful, yet strangely entertaining. If you’re craving petty drama that escalates from zero to a hundred in seconds and then never lets up, this is definitely for you. Just don’t expect it to make any sense.
