Sunny Deol’s Soft Reaction  with Mukesh Rishi recounts an incident from the sets of Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ghatak where he inadvertently injured Sunny Deol during a sword fight sequence. The renowned actor, known for his roles as a villain’s sidekick in numerous 90s films, shared this story in a recent interview.

During the filming of Ghatak, which starred Sunny Deol as Kashi and Danny Denzongpa as the villain Katya, Mukesh Rishi, portraying one of the antagonist’s henchmen, accidentally struck Sunny Deol’s hand with significant force while performing a sword fight scene. However, instead of reacting negatively, Sunny Deol displayed his compassionate nature, surprising Mukesh Rishi.

Recalling the incident, Mukesh Rishi mentioned that the fight master, Tillu Varma, was quite strict and demanded intensity in the action sequences. Both actors were equipped with heavy swords for the scene, and amidst the intense action, Mukesh Rishi missed his mark, resulting in the unintended injury to Sunny Deol’s hand. Feeling anxious about Sunny Deol’s response, Mukesh Rishi berated himself for losing focus.

However, to his surprise, Sunny Deol’s reaction was unexpectedly kind. Sensing Mukesh Rishi’s distress, Sunny Deol personally reassured him that he was alright, sending a member of his team to convey the message. This gesture deeply touched Mukesh Rishi, highlighting Sunny Deol’s compassionate and understanding nature.

Additionally, Mukesh Rishi fondly recalled another instance of Sunny Deol’s generosity. During their collaboration on the film Indian (2001), Mukesh Rishi admired a gadget worn by Simple Kapadia, the sister of Dimple Kapadia. Upon learning of Mukesh Rishi’s interest, Sunny Deol later gifted him the same gadget during their reunion on set, showcasing the enduring friendship and generosity between the two actors.
