Netflix has delighted fans with the announcement of Suits Season 9 arriving on the streaming platform next month. This final season, consisting of 10 episodes, delves deeper into the personal and professional journeys of the beloved characters.
For fans who have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Season 9 on Netflix since the platform acquired the streaming rights to the iconic legal drama last year, this news comes as a welcome relief. Previously exclusive to Peacock, the final season of Suits will now be available to Netflix subscribers.
For the uninitiated, Suits follows the story of Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams), who uses his photographic memory to land a job as an associate with Manhattan’s top closer, Harvey Specter (portrayed by Gabriel Macht), despite lacking formal qualifications. The show also features Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman, Gina Torres, and more.

Since its conclusion four years ago, Suits has experienced a resurgence in popularity, especially after Netflix acquired the series and made it available worldwide in 2023. The show dominated Nielsen’s overall streaming chart for 12 consecutive weeks, accumulating over 2.3 billion viewing minutes during its peak.
How many episodes does Suits Season 9 have?
Season 9 of Suits consists of 10 episodes, marking the final installment of the series. The decision to shorten the show’s final season was made by the network, concluding the long-running legal drama.
Without giving away any spoilers, the synopsis of the concluding season, as per Tudum, revolves around the legendary lawyer and COO navigating their relationship amidst the challenges of work, while also striving to restore the firm’s tarnished reputation alongside their partners.
The description further elaborates, “As the season unfolds, the personal lives of the core characters are explored in greater depth than ever before, laying the groundwork for the series finale where each character will be confronted with defining who they truly are and what type of lawyers they aspire to become.”
There’s a Suits spinoff in the work as well
After the series experienced a surge in popularity, NBC commissioned a pilot for the spinoff series titled Suits: L.A. in February. Spearheaded by the original creator, Aaron Korsh, the project will retain the same setting as Suits but feature an entirely new ensemble cast. Currently, Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Troy Winbush, Lex Scott Davis, Bryan Greenberg, and Alice Lee are reportedly set to star in the reboot. However, the show’s air date has yet to be announced.
All eight seasons of Suits are available for streaming on Netflix.
