According to reports, the teaser for the upcoming horror-comedy sequel “Stree 2,” featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is scheduled for release on Friday, June 14. However, there’s a twist to the unveiling.
Producer Dinesh Vijan is back with the fourth installment of his horror-comedy universe, Munjya, following the successes of “Stree” and “Bhediya.” Starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh, the film has received positive feedback from audiences since its theatrical debut, grossing over Rs. 20 crores within its initial three days.
The excitement is further fueled by the tie-in with the intriguing Maddock Supernatural Universe. As per recent reports, the teaser for “Stree 2” is slated to premiere this Friday and will exclusively play in cinemas screening Munjya.
Stree 2 teaser to release with a twist
Absolutely correct! Brace yourselves as the teaser for “Stree 2,” starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is all set to make its debut on Friday, June 14. But hold on to your seats, there’s a surprising twist! Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that the teaser won’t hit social media or any other digital platform. Rather, it’s exclusively reserved for theaters screening Munjya.
CBFC approved two teasers of Stree 2
Additionally, as per Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) greenlit two teasers for “Stree 2” on June 7. The initial teaser spans 1 minute and 23 seconds, while the second teaser clocks in at 1 minute and 6 seconds. Both teasers have received a U/A certificate.
A source also shared with the news outlet, “The teaser will hit screens in June itself, this week, despite the film’s release being almost 2 ½ months away. This sneak peek of ‘Stree 2’ will offer a glimpse into what audiences can anticipate from the film this time around.”
