Single Papa Review :-

In Netflix’s Single Papa, a young man, following his divorce, challenges societal stereotypes by taking responsibility for an infant and choosing to adopt. While the story may seem predictable at first, the series balances drama and entertainment well, adding thoughtful social commentary to create a light and enjoyable watch.

With a fun and slightly surprising cast, Single Papa is an entertaining and light-hearted ride. If you’re looking for something sweet and easygoing, it’s a quick watch. The series balances its elements well, with Kunal Kemmu’s Gaurav perfectly capturing a man-child whose sudden love for an abandoned baby makes you question his abilities.

The show follows Gaurav’s growth from immature to responsible, and it feels genuine because Kemmu’s performance is relatable and authentic. He brings the right mix of silliness and warmth, making the journey enjoyable. Alongside Gaurav’s efforts to care for baby Amul, the series also delivers entertaining subplots, like Namrata’s shaky marriage with Goldie and Gaurav’s parents opposing the adoption.

Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Prajakta Koli, and Ankur Rathee are perfectly cast as Gaurav’s family and friends, delivering plenty of laughs with their interactions in the quirky, dysfunctional household. However, the standout casting is Dayanand Shetty as Parbat—the moment he appears as a manny had me laughing out loud. On the other hand, Neha Dhupia as Romilla Nehra, the head of the adoption center, feels less relatable; her bias against men may be realistic in the adoption world, but her character comes off grating.

Beyond the humor, the series shines in its social commentary. It thoughtfully promotes adoption and makes viewers root for Gaurav. Some of the other social messages can feel a bit heavy-handed, but overall, the show weaves them into the story rather than making them feel forced.

Single Papa Trailor :-

Some situations can feel unrealistic, like Romilla clearly favoring one family over another and almost harassing them, but overall, the show remains entertaining. The humor isn’t very sophisticated, yet it matches the story’s light tone and is funny at times. Kemmu’s antics are enjoyable, and baby Amul is adorable, making the series a fun and charming watch.

Final Thought

Single Papa is a fun and lighthearted show that doesn’t take itself too seriously while still touching on meaningful social themes. It’s an easy, engaging watch filled with amusing moments that keep you entertained from beginning to end, and its short runtime makes it even more enjoyable.
