“Shekhar Home,” created by Aniruddha Guha and Srijit Mukherji, and directed by Mukherji alongside Rohan Sippy, is a captivating series inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s iconic “Sherlock Holmes.” The creators have masterfully crafted a world that draws viewers in from the very first scene. The narrative unfolds at a deliberate pace, reflecting the nuances of its characters and setting, immersing the audience in its carefully recreated era. Set in the early 1990s, the show evokes a time when crime-solving depended on physical evidence and keen observation, rather than modern technology, making it a refreshing and intriguing experience.

The story is set in the quiet town of Lonpur, Bengal, where Shekhar (played by Kay Kay Menon) is drawn into solving a murder case after 15 years of peace.
