The first startup to enter the Tank presents a wildlife tracking and monitoring system designed to safeguard crops and prevent harm to wild animals. The entrepreneur seeks Rs 1.5 Crores for a 2.5% equity stake in the company, outlining his background and motivation for entering this field. He elaborates on his product, its functionality, and how its two SKUs assist in deterring animals.

Delving into pricing details, he highlights how his products have aided farmers in cost savings. Providing insight into revenue generation, he reveals the success of his innovative solution. However, the Sharks express concern about the target market, primarily government bodies and NGOs, and the associated high pricing.

Addressing queries about his funding requirements and market competition in India, the entrepreneur engages in further discussion. While most Sharks opt out, Ritesh extends an offer, proposing Rs 75 Lakhs for a 5% equity share and Rs 75 Lakhs in debt at 10% interest for 3 years. The founder accepts the deal, concluding the negotiation on a positive note.

Pitch 2 :- Nema AI

Nema AI

The next company to pitch in the Tank offers a smart education platform tailored for neurodivergent individuals, adept at identifying behavioral difficulties efficiently through simple steps. This SaaS-based platform requires only 5 minutes to pinpoint areas of struggle for a child, along with providing recommendations for cognitive enhancement and a personalized learning curriculum. The founder emphasizes that the platform outperforms traditional learning methods in resolving these issues swiftly and effectively. Seeking Rs 80 Lakhs for a 5% equity stake, she elaborates on her background and motivation for entering this field, emphasizing that the platform offers guidance for improvement rather than medical diagnosis.

During a demo facilitated by Anupam, the Sharks are impressed by the platform’s efficacy. They discuss the advantages of Nema AI’s method over conventional questionnaires in detecting issues in children. Following this, the founder outlines the revenue model and profits, but the Sharks express concern about the product’s market fit due to its limited scale. They inquire about the competitive landscape and why users would choose Nema AI over established brands.

After deliberation, Namita and Vineeta extend a joint offer of Rs 40 Lakhs for an 8% equity share and Rs 40 Lakhs in debt at 10% interest for 3 years, which the founder accepts.

In the “Beyond the Tank” segment, attention shifts to Janitri, a company in which Namita had previously invested during season 2. The segment explores how the startup has aided expecting mothers in monitoring their babies’ well-being, offering them peace of mind.

Pitch 3 :- MaplePods

MaplePods

Lastly, we encounter a tech hospitality startup that offers users privacy for their special moments by repurposing discarded vehicles to create luxurious and private pod spaces for dining, gaming, and other activities. The founder reveals that they are currently operational in 4 cities in India, with 8 franchise orders set to commence soon.

Explaining the booking process aimed at providing ultimate choice and comfort, the founder expresses aspirations to scale the business to larger vehicles such as planes. Seeking a Rs 1.5 Crore investment in exchange for a 5% equity stake, he outlines the operational aspects of the pods and their maintenance, along with the distribution of revenue and popular package options.

After inspecting the pod interiors, the Sharks express admiration for the transformations made. The founder discusses his initial plan to establish pods in airports, revealing a strategic shift to city-based locations for improved accessibility and management.

Despite discussions on revenue generation and clientele, the Sharks express reservations regarding the financials, scalability, and refinement of the pods. Ultimately, none of the Sharks extend an offer, leaving the founder empty-handed.
