Pitch 1 :- Matri

Matri

In the latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 3, the first business to make its entrance is Matri, presenting a device designed to alleviate menstrual pain. The Sharks are intrigued by the pitch delivered by the founders, finding it both engaging and informative, stirring their curiosity. Ultimately, the founders propose seeking Rs 60 Lakhs for a 4% equity stake in the company. They begin by sharing their personal backgrounds and motivations for addressing an issue that has long been overlooked by medical science.

Pitch 2 :- Rubbabu

Rubbabu

Moving on, the founders delve into the technical aspects of their invention, elaborating on their Intellectual Property (IP) and the reasons behind its irreplicability. They also discuss their product testing phase and outline their market strategy, prompting all the Sharks to present their offers. Ultimately, the founders opt to strike a deal with Namita and Aman, securing Rs 60 Lakhs for a 4% equity stake. Interestingly, one of the founders reveals a familial connection with Ranodeep Saha of Rare Planet from Season 1.

In the subsequent segment, we are introduced to the founders of Rubbabu, a toy company specializing in biodegradable rubber foam toys. They highlight the uniqueness of their products and their global export operations. Concluding their pitch, they seek Rs 2 Crore in exchange for a 5% equity stake.

Impressed by the quality and packaging of the soft toys, the Sharks are taken aback when the founders mention their sales to China and emphasize their sole proprietorship of such toy manufacturing. However, concerns arise regarding the company’s working capital and the CEO’s demeanor, ultimately leading the founders to leave without securing an investment.

Pitch 3 :- Gulabo Jaipur

Gulabo Jaipur

Gulabo Jaipur, a clothing brand based in Jaipur, steps into the Tank, boasting timeless designs inspired by the city. The founders highlight their sales channels and note that their products have garnered attention from celebrities. They seek Rs 90 Lakhs for a 1% equity stake in the company.

Following this, the Sharks inquire about the founders’ motivations for entering the business and delve into the unique aspects of their designs. Anupam raises concerns about the representation of Jaipur’s craftsmanship in their products, a sentiment echoed by Vineeta. They inquire about any specialized collections or designs, to which the founders emphasize their focus on timeless apparel.

Further discussions revolve around pricing and sales, impressing the Sharks. Anupam questions the founders on their reasons for seeking investment, given their strong sales figures. Despite the founders’ assertion that they require expertise for growth, the Sharks remain unconvinced by the valuation presented. Ultimately, none of the Sharks choose to invest in the business due to a perceived lack of clarity and a unique selling proposition (USP).

Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 24 Review

The most recent episode of Shark Tank India Season 3 offered a whirlwind of innovations and heartfelt moments. Matri captured our attention with its focused and thoughtful business approach, while Rubbabu tugged at our heartstrings with the CEO’s determination to make a difference at his age. Episode 24 proved to be an inspiring journey, reminding us of the power of determination and passion to achieve our goals. For the first time in a while, I found myself deeply engaged in the episode not just because of the Sharks’ expertise, but also due to the entrepreneurs’ sheer willpower and passion.

Though two of the three pitchers didn’t secure funding this time, I couldn’t help but root for their success after witnessing their brave efforts on national TV. This feeling of hope isn’t something we experience in every episode.

Overall, the episode was undeniably entertaining, offering valuable lessons and ample inspiration
