SharkTankIndia Season3

Pitch 1 :- Jewel Box

Jewel Box

The first business to take the stage is Jewel Box, a conscious luxury brand specializing in lab-grown diamond jewelry. Following their presentation, they propose a deal of Rs 1 crore in exchange for 2% equity. The Sharks inquire about the founders’ backgrounds, leading to intriguing connections between one of the founders and Aman Gupta, the founder of BoAt. The founders elaborate on the process of creating lab-grown diamonds and highlight their advantages. The Sharks express concerns about the acceptance of this business in the Indian market, to which the founders respond by noting the growing trend in the US, suggesting potential adoption in India.

Impressed by their pitch, Aman & Radhika and Vineeta, Ritesh & Peyush extend their offers to the founders. Ultimately, all 5 sharks come together to strike a deal at Rs 2 crore for 6% equity.

Pitch 2 :- Daak Room

Daak Room

Before the second round kicks off, all the Sharks receive heartfelt letters from their loved ones, stirring up emotions all around. The next presentation features Daak Room, a brand that promotes the art of letter writing through its campaigns and products. After delving into the intricacies of their business model, the founders propose a deal of Rs 36 lakhs for 4% equity. The Sharks acknowledge that the founders have already made a significant impact with their heartfelt pitch, leaving everyone deeply moved. The founders elaborate on their operations and motivations for venturing into this business, highlighting their correspondence with notable figures, including the Prime Minister of India.

While Radhika and Aman refrain from making offers, both Vineeta and Ritesh extend their proposals. Ultimately, the founders agree to strike a deal with Ritesh at Rs 36 lakhs for 6% equity. Following the deal, the Sharks reflect on the touching contents of their letters, further heightening the emotional atmosphere.

Pitch 3 :- Nuvedo

Nuvedo

The following business to present is Nuvedo, a brand specializing in organic and chemical-free mushrooms with the aim of popularizing mushrooms in households. Seeking to secure Rs 50 lakhs for 3% equity, the founders elaborate on their products and discuss the process of growing and consuming mushrooms. After sampling the products, the Sharks inquire about the company’s revenue and the market size, expressing disappointment with the business’s potential scope. Despite the founders’ efforts to justify their venture and its inception, the Sharks remain unconvinced.

Regrettably, none of the Sharks deem the business worthy of investment, though they extend their best wishes to the founders for their future endeavors.

Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 13 Review

Another day brings forth a lineup of intriguing businesses, showcasing the ingenuity of entrepreneurs and the rapid evolution of the global market. Shark Tank India Season 3 Episode 13 introduces three diverse businesses with unique concepts.

While the first business, despite bearing a resemblance to BlueStone’s logo, has been making waves in India for some years, it’s Daak Room that tugs at the heartstrings and leaves everyone feeling sentimental. Witnessing the Sharks’ emotional response was particularly heartwarming. The final business, Nuvedo, offers a unique perspective that many viewers may not be familiar with. Although they don’t secure funding this time, their presentation serves as an educational opportunity about the benefits of mushrooms.

Overall, this episode leans more towards evoking emotions than playful banter. The dramatic exchange of letters, although touching, feels somewhat out of place. Personally, I enjoy the witty exchanges between the Sharks as much as learning about new businesses and ideas, and this element was somewhat lacking in this episode. Nevertheless, I commend it for its originality and for diverging from the typical clothing brand pitches. I’d rate it a 10/10 for bringing something fresh to the table.
