Peyush Bansal was deeply moved by an entrepreneur’s pitch, offering him a blank check. “You came seeking Rs 50 lakhs. Take that, and based on your value, whether you need Rs 1 crore or 2 crore,” he said. The sharks engaged in a competitive bid for a stake in the sanitary napkin manufacturing company. Ultimately, the entrepreneur accepted a Rs 1 crore deal with the sharks, with Bansal among the investors.
