Actor Vicky Kaushal marks his 36th birthday today. Joining in the celebrations, his brother Sunny Kaushal and father Sham Kaushal expressed their affection. Sunny shared nostalgic glimpses of Vicky’s childhood on Instagram, including a charming snapshot of him cutting a birthday cake, with the caption: “In 36 years, not much has changed… Happy birthday cutie @vickykaushal09.”

Sham Kaushal, on his part, also took to Instagram to extend warm wishes to his son, posting a throwback picture of Vicky from the set of Asoka juxtaposed with an image from his upcoming film “Chhava.” His heartfelt caption read: “Happy Birthday Puttar. Love u & proud of u. May God’s blessings be always with u. Always feel blessed to have u as my son. This photo was taken in 2001 on the sets of Asoka & only God knew that 23 years later u will be doing the sword fight in & as CHAAVA. Sab Rab di meher. Jor di jhappi.”

Vicky recently joined his brother Sunny on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where they showcased their heartfelt ‘bromance’. During the episode, Vicky reminisced about a time when he got into trouble with their parents and received a scolding. “Both of us have faced our fair share of parental discipline,” Vicky disclosed. “Mom would reprimand us regularly, and she still does. Dad, on the other hand, would reserve his scoldings for a few significant occasions each year. Those 4-5 instances of reprimand are etched in your memory forever,” he reminisced.

The brothers also delved into their shared passion for dance. “We used to love dancing in front of our guests. During our childhood, we often participated in our building’s cultural events, choreographing synchronized dances to medleys. So, from Republic Day until the next year, we would eagerly present our previous performances to our guests in the hall. Our dad would say, ‘They dance so well, show them something,’ and we’d eagerly perform for them,” they reminisced fondly.

Meanwhile, professionally, Vicky is gearing up to share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna in “Chhava”. Portraying the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Vicky’s character is complemented by Rashmika’s portrayal of his wife, Yesubai Bhonsale, in the film.
