Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput have recently made headlines with their purchase of a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s prestigious Oberoi 360 West project in Worli. According to registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com, the transaction was finalized at a remarkable Rs. 58.66 crore and registered on May 24, 2024.

The opulent apartment features a RERA carpet area of 5,395 square feet and includes three dedicated parking spaces, highlighting the premium amenities of the Oberoi 360 West development. This high-rise, built by Oberoi Realty, is known for its luxurious residences, including 4 BHK, 5 BHK, duplex apartments, and penthouses, all offering stunning sea views.

Interestingly, the Kapoors bought their new luxury apartment from Chandak Realtors Pvt Ltd, who had initially acquired it from the family and close associates of D’Mart owner Radhakishan Damani. “The apartment was purchased by Chandak Realty at around ₹65,000 per square foot and has now been sold for over ₹1 lakh per square foot, marking more than a 50% appreciation in just one year,” a real estate consultant told Hindustan Times Digital.

In 2018, Shahid Kapoor had acquired another expansive apartment in the same building, measuring 8,281 square feet, for Rs. 55.60 crore. For their latest acquisition, the couple paid a stamp duty of Rs. 1.75 crore.

On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. He will next star in Deva alongside Pooja Hegde.
