The movie opens with Maysa, a carefree and privileged young woman who seems to have been handed everything she’s ever wanted. Her life appears picture-perfect—so much so that it often feels unreal. The film starts off a bit too lighthearted, with Maysa’s overly bubbly personality making it hard to connect with her. But that changes once she truly begins to confront one of the worst days of her life.

Maysa’s perfect day takes a sharp turn for the worse when, while hosting some very important guests, the priceless artifact she’s meant to protect gets accidentally shattered. On top of that, her longtime boyfriend—whom she planned to marry soon—breaks up with her on the very same day. With only her mentor, Ben, by her side, she drunkenly makes a wish to forget the disastrous day, only to find herself trapped in a relentless time loop, forced to relive it again and again, unsure how to break free.

Initially, Maysa tries to face the chaos alone, but as the pressure mounts, she turns to Ben for help. The film begins as a fantasy comedy but slowly weaves in a tender romance simmering beneath the surface. A highlight for me was the unexpected twist halfway through, where instead of just one person stuck in the loop, two characters find themselves trapped—and intriguingly, one handles the ordeal far better than the other. It’s a fresh and surprising take on the genre.

The most striking feature of this film is the actress’s wardrobe—she effortlessly rocks some stunning outfits that perfectly capture the fashion-forward spirit of the movie. The cinematography is equally impressive, enhancing the stylish atmosphere throughout. But the real highlight is the lead actress’s wholehearted, committed performance. Her love interest and supporting cast also deliver solid performances, adding depth to the story.

That said, the film’s biggest flaw is how it only reveals its true purpose in the final 20 minutes. This sudden twist feels jarring because the story never builds a proper foundation or background for it. While the message itself is meaningful, the film leans too heavily into comedy, delays the romantic storyline, and pushes back the development of its central theme for far too long.
