He has resumed his work routine, and the two men were arrested in Punjab. They were brought to Mumbai and are currently in custody. Now, more shocking reports have emerged about the men. One of the two arms suppliers in the firing case has reportedly attempted suicide while in police custody.
The man’s name is Anuj Thapan, aged 32, and he died by suicide while in Mumbai police custody. Sources close to NDTV stated that the police are investigating why Anuj Thapan took this drastic step. Former senior Maharashtra police officer PK Jain spoke to NDTV and informed them that any death in a lock-up is treated as a murder case, and the policemen will be questioned by the CID.
