JioHotstar’s latest original series is a concise, action-packed thriller that hooks viewers with its tight storytelling, avoiding unnecessary backstory that could slow the pace. Centered on a skilled spymaster tasked with stopping a nuclear attack, the series weaves together past and present threats, plunging the nation—and the spy’s life—into peril.
As noted earlier, the series is compact enough to be thoroughly engaging, keeping viewers hooked from start to finish. While it avoids unnecessary filler, it adds just enough depth to draw you in. The interplay between past and present brings a unique charm, leaving you on edge, eager to see if Adhir can rescue Srishti from Pakistan and escape Ashfaq’s grasp. Its brief runtime is its greatest strength, maintaining your interest all the way through.
The biggest praise goes to Naveen Kasturia and Purnendu Bhattacharya, whose charming performances make the series highly watchable. Mouni Roy also shines, though her role feels limited within the broader story. Mukesh Rishi and Surya Sharma deliver solid performances, with Rishi standing out as the menacing Zia Ulla.
