Shark Tank India Season 3 began in January 2024 and has brought many exciting moments. What’s also exciting is that the group of investors, called ‘sharks,’ has grown to 12 people, with Ronnie Screwvala, a film producer and co-founder of UpGrad, joining as a new ‘shark.’ A preview of his participation has been released, and hearing about his journey to success makes it even more interesting to see what he’ll bring to the show.

In his introduction video, Ronnie talks about his modest beginnings and how not feeling entitled helped him professionally. He reflects on his thirty-year journey, including eight failures and two successes. He says, “If I hadn’t experienced those eight failures, my two successes may not have been as significant.” Ronnie also talks about his work in education and how living in a large family taught him to collaborate effectively.Ronnie co-founded UpGrad in 2015 and Swades Foundation in 2013, both aimed at improving opportunities in India, particularly in education and rural development.

Apart from the well-known investors like Peyush Bansal, Amita Jain, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, and Namita Thapar, this season introduces new ‘sharks’ Deepinder Goyal, Ritesh Agarwal, Azhar Iqubal, Radhika Gupta, Varun Dua, and Ronnie.
