Romeo S3 Review :-
Director Guddu Dhanoa’s action thriller centers on Sangram, a fiery cop who goes undercover to dismantle a drug cartel and uncover its leaders. While investigating his mentor’s murder, he becomes convinced the two cases are linked. The plot takes an unexpected twist, revealing a larger conspiracy involving a deadly virus—whose only antidote is held by the ruthless mafioso Jayant Makhija (Aman Dhaliwal). Amid the turmoil, Sangram must also rescue investigative journalist Tanu (Palak Tiwari) after she is kidnapped by Jayant and his father.
Written by Shailesh Verma, the film is a typical potboiler weighed down by a formulaic storyline, unfocused screenplay, and a wandering narrative. It’s plagued with unresolved plot holes, shallow characters, and far-fetched twists—like Sangram’s transfer being delayed simply because a video of his vigilante justice against rapists goes viral.

Despite its weak narrative, the film’s first half maintains a steady pace and manages to keep you moderately engaged as Sangram outwits the cartel. The production values and overall visual style are adequate, though nothing extraordinary. There are a handful of well-executed action scenes, but the film relies heavily on familiar tropes like slow-motion entrances, car chases, and vehicle explosions. The story is further burdened by a one-sided romance, with Tanu’s unreciprocated feelings for Sangram, and songs that disrupt the flow.

Thakur Anoop Singh delivers the action sequences with confidence and has a solid screen presence, though his character and performance often feel reminiscent of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba. His emotional scenes, however, don’t always resonate. Palak Tiwari is adequate as Tanu, but her character is poorly developed and she never fully convinces as an investigative journalist. Aman Dhaliwal arrives in the second half, turning in an excessively over-the-top performance as the intimidating Jayant.
Romeo S3 Trailor :-
Final Thought
Packed with too many underdeveloped and unconvincing plot points, the film struggles to maintain focus and loses its impact. Though a handful of action scenes briefly capture your attention, they aren’t enough to save the overall experience. Romeo S3 aims to be a mass-action thriller but ultimately feels like an over-the-top masala flick with minimal payoff.
