Panchayat season 3 Sanvikaa, portraying the character of Rinky, daughter of Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav’s characters in Panchayat, reflects on her experience working with the veteran actor in the web series.
From a single appearance in Season 1 to a prominent role in Season 3 of Prime Video’s acclaimed series Panchayat, actor Sanvikaa has undergone significant growth. Sanvikaa portrays Rinky, daughter of Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav’s characters, in the series. In a recent interview, she shares her experience of collaborating with veteran actor Neena Gupta, praising her candid demeanor both on and off the camera. She also reflects on the water tank scene, which became a source of inspiration for numerous memes.
In conversation with Bollywood Now, Sanvikaa commends Neena and remarks, “During our scenes together, I would immerse myself in the moment, but I also observed her interactions with other cast members. She delivers her lines with fearlessness, a trait one can learn from her. Off-camera, she remains candid and unfiltered. She speaks her mind, and that’s a quality I admire greatly about her.”
Describing how Neena Gupta supported her during a challenging moment on set, she expressed, “She’s like a mother figure, always there to back you up. Sometimes on set, you need that maternal support, and she never fails to provide it. There was a particular instance where she stood by me, offering just a few words of encouragement, but it meant the world to me. Our bond grew stronger from Season 2, so I thoroughly enjoyed working with her in Season 3. I genuinely admire her as a person.”
Sanvikaa’s character Rinky made her debut in the final episode of Panchayat Season 1, perched atop the village’s water tank. Recalling the shoot, she recounted, “When we first climbed the water tank, it began to sway midway through the stairs, which was quite frightening. However, our entire camera and lighting crew also climbed up with the equipment. It was nerve-wracking because you never know what might happen. After that scene, I became accustomed to it. Now I eagerly anticipate the next opportunity to climb atop the water tank.”
