One Two Cha Cha Chaa Review :-

At a time when Hindi comedies focus on either shock humor or clever satire, One Two Cha Cha Chaa tries to bring back the loud, slapstick style popular in the early 2000s. The idea sounds fun, with odd characters, a chaotic road trip, and small-town situations. But in reality, the film fails to turn its high energy into steady laughs, making it feel too long and mostly disappointing.

Set in Motihari, Bihar, the film opens at a wedding but quickly takes an unexpected turn when Chachaji, Ved Prakash Jaiswal (Ashutosh Rana), announces that he wants to get married before the groom. This shocks the family, and following a doctor’s suggestion, they decide to take him to a mental health centre. What should have been a simple trip soon becomes a messy road journey filled with criminals, gunfire, confusion, and a mysterious ₹25 crore. The film keeps raising the chaos, with drunken behaviour and over-the-top situations added one after another.

Directed by Abhishek Raj Khemka and Rajneesh Thakur, the movie leans heavily on situational comedy. Much of the story unfolds on the road, driven by misunderstandings and mistaken identities. While the actors share some entertaining moments, the plot feels dragged out. At almost two hours and forty minutes, the film stretches its jokes too far, often repeating scenes without building toward a satisfying payoff.

Abhishek Raj Khemka’s writing follows a basic idea where one mix-up leads to another, but the problem is how it is handled. The film takes inspiration from old slapstick hits like Hera Pheri and Dhamaal, yet it lacks their sharp timing and memorable jokes. Most of the humour fails to work, and many scenes fall flat despite a promising concept. The climax does bring a few real laughs, but by that point, the film already feels tiring.

Ashutosh Rana is the film’s strongest point. His performance as the bipolar, quirky uncle is honest, controlled, and sometimes even moving. He adds innocence and good comic timing to Chachaji, making sure the role never feels insensitive. Through his acting, the film briefly touches on mental health in a thoughtful way. His expressions, body language, and dialogue delivery stand out in an otherwise uneven film.

One Two Cha Cha Chaa Trailor :-

The supporting cast, including Abhimanyu Singh, Nyrraa M Banerji, Anant Vijay Joshi, Harsh Mayar, Ashok Pathak, Chittaranjan Giri, and Hemal Ingle, performs their roles well enough. The trio of Lalit Prabhakar, Anant Vijay Joshi, and Harsh Mayar shows good potential, but stronger writing could have made their comic moments much more impactful.

Final Thought

One Two Cha Cha Chaa is noisy, chaotic, and exaggerated, but it doesn’t deliver steady laughs. Ashutosh Rana’s full commitment to the goofy tone brings some charm, yet it can’t save a film that feels too long. Overall, it’s an average watch with a few brief funny moments lost in a lot of confusion.
