Noise Story:-
Netflix has had its fair share of disappointments in terms of film releases, but “Noise” may just take the crown as one of the worst offerings yet. Slow-paced, tedious, and burdened with a feeble and flimsy script, this film struggles to stand out amidst a sea of bad ideas.

The storyline attempts to set up a basic thriller premise, revolving around a man named Matthias who moves back into his childhood home with his partner Liv and their son Julius. Matthias, an online influencer boasting over 120,000 followers, initially appears to be leading a successful life with his family, enjoying sponsorships and perks like free diapers and baby gear.

However, as the film progresses, Matthias begins to grapple with postnatal depression due to the stress of late nights and early mornings. In an attempt to cope with his worsening condition, Matthias delves into investigating a local factory accident linked to his father’s dark past.

Despite the potential intrigue hinted at in the plot summary, the execution falls flat. The film plods along at a sluggish pace, punctuated by a repetitive motif of loud noises that quickly becomes tiresome. Matthias’s investigation ultimately leads to an unsatisfying conclusion, while Liv’s character spends much of her screen time aimlessly wandering and interacting with unresponsive shop owners.

Compounding the film’s shortcomings is the lack of a compelling protagonist. Matthias’s character transformation from a likable individual to a self-centered and egotistical figure lacks depth and fails to engage the audience. Instead of witnessing a nuanced exploration of his descent into darkness, viewers are presented with a one-dimensional portrayal that falls short of being emotionally resonant.

Despite labeling itself as a thriller, “Noise” fails to deliver any genuine thrills or suspense. A poorly executed jump scare and a rushed exposition dump in the final act only serve to highlight the film’s deficiencies rather than redeem it.

In the end, “Noise” is unlikely to garner any praise or recognition as a standout Netflix film. With its lackluster execution and wasted potential, it ultimately proves to be a forgettable and frustrating viewing experience. While there may have been the kernel of a compelling story buried within, the film’s aimless meandering and disappointing narrative leave much to be desired, leaving viewers feeling more exasperated than entertained.
