Nobody Wants This Episode 3 (Netflix) Review :-
Episode 3 of Nobody Wants This opens with Joanne returning home after a delightful date, her smile reflecting the joy of an incredible kiss.
As she and Morgan chat about the date, they eventually prepare for their next podcast episode. Their mom joins them, and they welcome a special guest, Dr. Jay Shah, who shares insights about auras.
Dr. Shah struggles to read Joanne’s aura, leading to some playful tension between them. If the camera hadn’t cut away, it might have seemed like they were on the verge of a catfight!
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Noah rushes in only to discover that Rebecca has had an accident. Thankfully, she’s okay, despite the dramatic news suggesting she was nearly in a coma, rendering all the panic unnecessary. Outside, Sasha points out that both Rebecca and their parents are upset with Noah, blaming him for “causing the accident” after Rebecca supposedly harmed herself out of heartbreak.
Noah quickly finds himself in the middle of family drama as he confronts both sides. His parents lash out at him, but thankfully, Rebecca is going to be okay. However, the news of Noah dating a “shiksa” spreads like wildfire, reigniting tensions. Esther even guilt-trips Noah, insisting he’s tearing the family apart.
Meanwhile, Joanne can’t shake off thoughts of their kiss and wonders why Noah hasn’t replied. Morgan suggests it might be because Joanne joked about being pregnant in a text, which she fears may have ruined everything. The two sisters perfectly capture the paranoia and overthinking that comes with waiting for a text response, and Joanne spirals into self-doubt.
As Joanne questions if she’s a terrible person, Noah also grapples with his feelings. It’s his dad who gives him a much-needed pep talk. Later, Noah drives over to Joanne’s apartment, and they spend the early hours chatting outside, reconnecting in the quiet of the night.
Final Thought
Both leads experience a crisis of confidence following their date, but it seems Noah is leaning toward making things work with Joanne. While their chemistry is undeniable, they really need to communicate better, especially with the ongoing Rebecca situation that could lead to future complications.
Overall, the series has been enjoyable, but it lacks substantial depth. It’s definitely not a bad watch, yet it doesn’t leave a lasting impression either.

Episode 4 of Nobody Wants This kicks off with Joanne feeling anxious about her first real date with Noah. The girls share some lighthearted banter about sex toys and their attempts to track down Rebecca on social media. The highlight of their conversation is about a toy called The Obliterator, which is relevant to an upcoming podcast guest, prompting them to hunt it down.
Meanwhile, Noah’s friend showcases his impressive condom collection, laying them out on a table for Noah to peruse. Sasha tries to spice things up with Esther, but she brushes him off, focused instead on being Rebecca’s wing-woman.
Meanwhile, Joanne’s date takes an unexpected turn when Morgan calls to remind her that she needs to pick up The Obliterator.
Noah volunteers to grab it for her, and soon enough, the two find themselves in a sex shop. As they browse through the selection and pick out what they need, their conversation turns awkward, filled with playful banter and teasing remarks.
When Mr. Goldberg, a prominent board member from the temple, spots Noah and Joanne in the shop, the moment becomes incredibly awkward. Their delay results in them missing their dinner reservation altogether. Instead, the duo heads to Noah’s place, where he whips up some spaghetti.
During their meal, Noah expresses that he doesn’t want Joanne to be just a rebound; he wants something deeper. In turn, Joanne reveals her fears about becoming emotionally dependent on someone she worries might break her heart.
At home, Sasha spends quality time with his daughter, Miriam, which helps strengthen their bond. As a result, he ends up reaching out to a kid from her school. Later, Esther comes home to find Sasha on the couch, and after some drinks, they end up heading to bed together.
As the episode wraps up, Noah assures Joanne that he will do everything in his power to protect her heart. They share an intimate moment, solidifying their connection. Meanwhile, Mr. Goldberg makes a hefty donation to the temple, motivated by his desire to keep quiet about spotting Noah in the sex shop.
Final Thought
As we reach the midway point of the series, one pressing question lingers: where’s the conflict? There’s no clear antagonist or significant twists, and so far, Noah and Joanne seem to be cruising smoothly. While it’s clear that something will eventually challenge their relationship, it’s hard to pinpoint what that might be at this stage.
