Nikita Roy Review :-
Director Kussh S Sinha takes an unconventional route for his directorial debut, venturing into the largely untapped territory of horror-thrillers in mainstream Bollywood. It’s a genre few have dared to explore—and even fewer have mastered. With his sister leading the cast, Kussh delivers a thriller that, while occasionally uneven and rushed, manages to remain fairly gripping throughout.
The film sets out to explore the clash between superstition and science, faith and blind belief—a compelling concept that falters in execution. It jumps straight into the investigation without grounding the audience in the characters or their backstories. As the mystery unfolds, protagonist Nikita’s actions often feel disconnected from the looming danger around her. Bravery is admirable, but awareness is essential—courage should be guided, not reckless.
Nikita confronts cult leader Amar Dev, holding him responsible and vowing to bring him down within seven days—despite having no clear plan. In response, he gives her just three days to live. The question lingers: who will prevail?
Nikita Roy Trailor :-
Sonakshi Sinha brings grit and determination to her role, anchoring the film with a strong presence. Paresh Rawal, however, is underutilized—his limited screen time weakens the impact of the central conflict. While the thriller builds an eerie atmosphere and hints at something truly chilling, it falls short of fully realizing its intriguing premise. With more time to develop its characters and plot, this story might have been better suited to a web series format.
