Despite growing rumors of a potential divorce, Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and his wife, Serbian dancer-actor Nataša Stanković, have yet to publicly address the matter or clarify the speculations. Stanković’s actions, such as removing her married surname and deleting photos of the cricketer from her social media account, have only intensified the speculation.

Her response to reporters’ questions regarding the rumors has further fueled speculation, prompting many to draw conclusions on the matter. Despite sharing a few cryptic stories on her Instagram, Stanković had previously maintained a low profile.

However, she was recently seen at a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, accompanied by actor Disha Patani’s rumored boyfriend, Aleksandar Alex Ilic. When paparazzi asked if she would like to comment on the divorce rumors, the question momentarily shocked her, evident from the change in her demeanor. However, the dancer-actor quickly regained her composure, flashing a smile and responding, “Thank you very much,” to the photographers before heading towards her car. Despite reporters urging her to say something, she merely repeated, “Thank you, guys,” before departing.

Currently serving as the vice-captain of the Indian ODI cricket team, Hardik Pandya also captains the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Stanković’s absence at Pandya and Mumbai Indians’ matches during the recent IPL season fueled speculation, and her reported removal of their wedding pictures from her Instagram handle only added to suspicions.

Who is Nataša Stanković?

Originally from Požarevac, Republic of Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia, Stanković relocated to India in 2012 to pursue a career in the Indian entertainment industry. After initially featuring in commercials, including prominent brands like Johnson’s Baby, she made her film debut in Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha, appearing in a song sequence. Despite securing minor roles in films such as Dishkiyaoon, Action Jackson, 7 Hours to Go, and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, her acting career in movies never fully took off. However, Stanković gained recognition through dance performances and featured in numerous Bollywood songs before entering Bigg Boss 8 as a contestant. She also participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9, where she finished as the 3rd runner-up alongside another contestant.

Stanković and Pandya became engaged on January 1, 2020, and later tied the knot during the COVID-induced lockdown. The couple welcomed a baby boy, Agastya, on July 30 of the same year. They renewed their wedding vows in a Christian ceremony in Udaipur on February 14, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
