My Fault Story:-
I find it amusing how Wattpad romances are now being adapted into live-action films. As someone who devoured these stories as a teenager and still enjoys them as an adult, I couldn’t resist the temptation to watch “My Fault” after seeing its trailer.

The storyline revolves around Noah, who grew up with her struggling single mother after the death of her abusive father. When her mother remarries a wealthy man, Noah is thrust into a life of luxury, living under the same roof as her devilishly handsome stepbrother, Nick, who has ties to gang members and enjoys racing and fighting.
“My Fault” turned out to be more thrilling than I expected, with its elements of racing, danger, and mystery. However, I found the romance to be rushed, and the intense passion between the characters felt somewhat forced. I couldn’t help but question why Noah and Nick were so drawn to each other. I wished the film had taken more time to develop their relationship, especially considering the enemies-to-lovers and forbidden love tropes it aimed to explore.
The conclusion left me puzzled, as it seemed to be setting up a sequel. I hope the sequel doesn’t delve into clichés like revealing the couple to be more than just step-siblings, as that would feel reminiscent of “The Mortal Instruments” series. However, I acknowledge that my assumptions could be wrong.
I must commend the casting choices, as the actors portrayed their roles admirably. The film is self-aware and caters to its target audience without trying to be something it’s not. The racing scenes were particularly thrilling and well-executed, adding to the tension of the plot. The moments when Noah’s life is in danger successfully kept me on edge. Despite these positives, the pacing of the film felt rushed, with too much crammed into the storyline. With potential sequels on the horizon, there was no need to squeeze so many plot points into this installment.
Overall, my complaints are minor compared to the silly joy the film provided me. However, I found the ending to be unsatisfactory and hope future installments will address this issue.
