Moonwalk (Jiocinema) Review :-

The plot centers around Tarik Pandey (Anshumaan Pushkar), a skilled thief from Rampur known for stealing valuable items and executing his signature move—the moonwalk—during his heists. His sharp comedic timing and charismatic presence add to the entertainment. On the other side, we meet Maddy Kapoor (Samir Kochhar), a notorious crook from Delhi with a reputation for his mischievous ways.

Both Maddy (Samir Kochhar) and Tarik (Anshumaan Pushkar) are vying for the affections of the same woman, Chandni (Nidhi Singh). While they each share intimate moments with her, Chandni urges Tarik to move on from their relationship as she grows closer to Maddy. Meanwhile, Maddy, despite his connection with Chandni, puts her phone on hold to take a call from someone else.

The rivalry between the two intensifies, and one day, with Chandni present, they clash. In a bid to settle things, she challenges them: whoever steals the most precious item for her will win her love. The comedic chemistry between the characters shines throughout, especially in episode 9, where Maddy finds himself behind bars with two other thieves. He calls Tarik for advice, and when he asks what he should steal, Tarik responds, “Chandni ke liye chand ka tukda” (a piece of the moon). Eventually, both Maddy and Tarik end up in jail together, all in pursuit of stealing a moon rock.

In terms of direction, Moonwalk features some fantastic comedic sequences. However, certain scenes feel unnecessary and could easily be skipped to move the story forward. While the filmmaker succeeds in crafting memorable individual moments, the overall pacing and coherence of the show suffer as a result.

Samir Kochhar and Anshumaan Pushkar deliver strong performances in their roles, though their comedic chemistry doesn’t always hit the mark. Nidhi Singh impresses as Chandni, while Sheeba Chaddha and Geetanjali Kulkarni bring charm to their supporting roles.
