Mere Husband ki Biwi Review :-
Ankur Chaddha is tormented by constant nightmares of his ex-wife, Prabhleen Kaur, making the idea of dating feel impossible. Everything changes when he reconnects with his college crush, Antara Khanna, and they quickly fall in love. Just as they decide to get married, an unexpected twist from fate turns their lives upside down.

After a near-fatal accident, Prabhleen reappears with retrograde amnesia, forgetting the last five years of her life—including their tumultuous marriage and divorce. Following the doctor’s advice to avoid shocking her with the truth, Ankur is caught in a difficult situation. With Prabhleen believing they are still together and Antara fighting for their future, a rivalry emerges—one that will decide who ultimately captures Ankur’s heart.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film starts off with light-hearted humor and witty exchanges between Ankur and his best friend, Rehan (Harsh Gujral). However, the story soon falls into a familiar pattern of two women competing for the hero’s affection—a theme all too common in formulaic 90s Bollywood films. The introduction of a quirky neurologist, a game of dumb charades, and other overused tropes—such as pre-wedding celebrations in Scotland and the women trying to outshine each other—causes the narrative to lose its spark after the interval.

Prabhleen is initially portrayed as a villainous figure, but as the story unfolds through flashbacks, Ankur is revealed to be a sexist, traditional man who dismisses his wife’s career and dreams. Like a spoiled child, he storms into her workplace, quits her job without consulting her, and then shuts down communication—yet he continues to act as though he’s the one wronged. This disconnect makes it hard for the audience to sympathize with him, or to understand Antara’s hesitation, which stems from her fear that she could never measure up to the lingering shadow of his ex-wife.
Arjun Kapoor delivers a solid performance, effortlessly balancing comedic and emotional moments. Bhumi Pednekar convincingly portrays a typical Punjabi girl, but her character feels underdeveloped, with her personality revealed in fragments. The film also fails to delve into her life after the divorce, leaving her character arc incomplete. Rakul Preet Singh plays the strong yet understanding London girl with conviction, but her willingness to play dirty when needed adds an interesting layer to her role.
Mere Husband ki Biwi Trailor :-
The standout moments in the film come from stand-up comedian Harsh Gujral. His natural delivery and perfect comic timing elevate the humor, particularly in scenes where he roasts Arjun Kapoor, creating some of the film’s most entertaining moments. Dino Morea also makes a charming cameo as Antara’s suave brother.
While the rom-com follows a familiar, predictable love story, it still offers enough enjoyable moments that bring laughter and keep the audience entertained.
