According to Indiatimes, he even assisted his uncle in selling cotton, transporting the produce on his bicycle to distant places, earning around a hundred rupees daily.

In an old interview cited by the portal, Pathak disclosed that he was once the kind of kid parents warned their children to avoid due to his addiction to gutkha, paan, and tobacco. Fortunately, upon entering college, things took a positive turn as he became drawn to theater.

During one of the college festivals, the “Panchayat” actor earned a remuneration of forty thousand rupees, which he used to relocate to Mumbai. Luck favored him in the city, and after a rigorous series of auditions, he secured small character roles, providing him with both experience and the means to pursue his acting ambitions.
