Netflix’s Love is Blind is my guilty pleasure binge-watch, and the third season lived up to my expectations. From the endless drama to the heartwarming moments, here’s a breakdown of the four couples from season three.

Let’s kick things off with Cole and Zanab. From their adorable conversations in the pods, I was rooting for them to say “I do.” However, once they entered the real world, Cole’s flirtatious behavior with Colleen stirred up all the drama we needed for the season. My opinion on their relationship solidified when Cole made the jaw-dropping “bipolar” remark and Zanab revealed how Cole had shattered her self-confidence. So, when she said “I don’t,” I couldn’t help but clap along with her friends.

Next, Brennon and Alexa gave me hope that love truly can be blind. Brennon’s affection for making shakshuka, his acceptance of Alexa’s extensive wardrobe, and his ability to rock a cowboy hat made me fully support their relationship. Despite the creepy knife moment from Alexa’s dad and the youthful appearance of her step-mom, seeing them cuddled up at the reunion melted my heart.

SK and Raven were the couple I wasn’t quite sure about. Their awkward start in Malibu filled with pilates sessions gradually evolved into something more promising as SK opened up and Raven became less judgmental. Although their moms’ bond was adorable, this couple didn’t captivate me as much. However, I was glad to hear they were still together at the reunion, suggesting that maybe the incident with the fish wasn’t such a bad omen after all.

Initially, Colleen and Matt seemed like the protagonists of a simple and sweet country love story. However, their relationship became a poignant lesson in healing and self-love. Despite initially judging Matt for packing his bags after arguments, I came to understand that he hadn’t fully recovered from his divorce. Their reconciliation didn’t surprise me, and I especially loved Colleen’s kind-hearted dad, whose soothing voice always brought comfort.

Lastly, the most problematic relationship: Nancy and Bartise. Bartise’s constant compliments to Raven, their opposing views on abortion rights, the cringe-worthy dinner with his family, and his relentless mission to undermine Nancy’s self-esteem made me want to shake some sense into him, just like Mamma Eddy said she would. I commend Nancy for finally ending things with Bartise, especially after his cringeworthy bowtie at the wedding.

With only four out of fifteen successful marriages across three seasons, it might be time for hosts Nick and Vanessa to acknowledge that rushing into marriage four weeks after meeting someone isn’t the best idea. Nevertheless, I’m eagerly awaiting season four!
