Love in Vietnam Review :-

Vietnam serves as a charming and evocative backdrop for this cross-cultural romance. Director Rahhat Shah Kazmi weaves a dreamlike tale of longing as Manav, a Punjabi youth, falls in love with Linh through her self-portrait before they even meet. Their romance unfolds amid stunning landscapes, while Simmi quietly harbors her own unspoken feelings for him. But when Manav returns to India for his sister’s wedding, Linh mysteriously disappears. His return to Vietnam sparks an unrelenting search—spanning from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang and beyond—where Manav and Simmi build a life together, still holding onto the hope of finding Linh.

The film centers on whether fate will reunite Manav with Linh or guide him toward Simmi’s unwavering love—a familiar premise that struggles to feel fresh. The weak storyline is further weakened by uneven storytelling, which diminishes its emotional impact. The script feels generic, with the romance between Manav and Linh, Simmi’s unrequited love, and Manav’s long search all coming across as emotionally flat due to lackluster execution. The first half drags with minimal engagement, picking up slightly after the interval before sinking back into a sluggish pace. A rushed climax and choppy editing make the ending feel abrupt, leaving several key plot points unresolved.

The film’s strongest asset lies in its visual palette. Cinematographer Rajendiran Nanjan (Dudley) beautifully captures Vietnam’s natural splendor, with sweeping shots of mist-covered mountains and iconic landmarks like the Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, giving the film a stunning, postcard-perfect aesthetic.

Love in Vietnam Trailor :-

Shantanu Maheshwari delivers a competent performance as the earnest lover, while Khả Ngân shines with radiant presence, despite her role feeling somewhat underdeveloped. Avneet Kaur adds charm and energy as the mischievous childhood friend, impressing particularly in the film’s emotional moments. Raj Babbar and Saaquib Ayubi provide solid support in their smaller roles, rounding out the cast effectively.
