Renowned Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar was among the early celebrities to arrive and cast his vote at the polling booth. Notably, this marks his maiden vote after acquiring Indian citizenship.
Bollywood filmmaker-turned-actor Farhan Akhtar was photographed at the polling booth alongside his sister Zoya Akhtar and mother Honey Irani. Later, taking to Instagram, the “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” star shared a photo urging fellow Mumbaikars to exercise their voting rights. He wrote, “Come on Mumbai. Time to step up and fulfill your duty as a citizen. Participate and vote for the candidate who truly represents your values and concerns. Choose the candidate who will address your issues and advocate for you when needed. Every vote counts. Jai Hind.”
