Complaint filed against Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 3
Before the completion of shooting, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s upcoming film “Jolly LLB 3” has encountered trouble. Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, the president of the Ajmer District Bar Association, filed a complaint against the movie in the Ajmer court, alleging that it undermines judicial integrity. The complaint, lodged in the court of Civil Judge Ajmer North, seeks to halt the filming of the movie. The hearing for this matter is scheduled for today (May 7).
In his complaint, Rathod criticized the film’s portrayal of lawyers and judges, accusing the producers, director, and actors of making light of the legal profession. He expressed concern that scenes depicting violence against lawyers, judges consuming tobacco, and unethical money transactions are disrespectful to the judiciary and violate the dignity of the legal system as enshrined in the Constitution.
Rathod cited instances from the previous installments of the franchise, alleging that the filmmakers have shown a lack of regard for the judiciary’s reputation. He urged the court to take appropriate action to ensure that the production of “Jolly LLB 3” respects the honor and prestige of the judiciary.
