Kourtney Kardashian has dispelled rumors of a rift with her sister Kim Kardashian, stemming from Season 3 of their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
It appears that the renowned Kardashian siblings, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, have moved past their well-known disagreement from the third season of their popular series. During the May 30 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney addressed speculations surrounding her supposed feud with Kim while responding to fan feedback regarding her baby shower, which she had recently thanked her family members for organizing on Instagram.
“People are like, ‘Kourtney’s throwing shade,'” she remarked. “They believe that we’re at odds.” Reflecting on a disagreement she had with her sister Kim during season 3, Kourtney reminisced about the incident. The sisters clashed when Kim informed Kourtney about her involvement in a campaign for the renowned fashion house Dolce & Gabbana, which bore a resemblance to the theme of the wedding the designers had organized for Kim just a month prior.
More details about the argument
The conversation began innocuously over the phone when Kim shared details about the campaign with Kourtney. During the conversation, Kim mentioned a private group chat created by their sisters, to which Kourtney expressed her disinterest in joining. This led to Kourtney labeling Kim as a narcissist solely concerned with her own image, before abruptly ending the call and expressing her preference for distance from Kim.
Later on, Kim clarified that the notion of animosity between them is unfounded. While the sisters may occasionally irk each other, they have also stood by each other during challenging times.
Kourtney Kardashian never knew the argument scene was being filmed
Discussing the argument with her sister, Kourtney confessed that she was unaware the call had been filmed. While initially opposed to the idea of its inclusion in the episode, she conceded that the moment was too compelling to ignore.
Additionally, she noted that sibling fights and disagreements are common, akin to those experienced by any other siblings. However, she acknowledged that at times they may cross a certain threshold, becoming excessive. Fans of their show often took sides during their conflicts and found entertainment in their dynamic.
New episodes of The Kardashians drop every Thursday at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
