Hijack Season 2 Review :-

In season two of this thriller, Sam Nelson returns to handle yet another dangerous crisis. This time, the situation is more risky and complex for everyone. Since even the main idea could give away spoilers, it’s best not to reveal much. Still, the season delivers a major surprise when events take a sudden turn.

Set in Berlin’s underground train system, the series creates strong tension and a suffocating atmosphere that feels familiar to the show. Being trapped in a hijacking is frightening enough, but the underground tunnels turn it into a confusing maze that feels even more dangerous. As the hijackers pressure the negotiators with tougher demands, the hostages sink deeper into a situation that seems impossible to escape.

Idris Elba is just as powerful as Sam this season as he was in the first. Much of the show’s impact comes from Elba’s screen presence, as he easily holds attention and makes every line matter. This season also gives more personal reasons behind Sam’s actions, which is a shift from the first season where he appeared more straightforward. Now, his choices feel less clear-cut, adding a fresh and interesting layer to the story.

Before starting the season, I wondered how realistic it was for Sam to face another hijacking, this time on a train—it felt a bit forced. The season does have some surprises, but fans of the first season might notice the familiar patterns.

At times, it’s hard to see why a second season was needed, since having the same person in two hijackings is unusual. Even though the show tries to make things feel different, it doesn’t fully explain why this story is happening, leaving viewers confused—but still curious to see how it ends.

Hijack Season 2 Trailor :-

In the end, extreme situations call for extreme actions, and the struggle between Sam, the mysterious attackers, and the authorities is gripping, making you wonder who is truly at fault. You feel for Sam and understand his choices, but the unfolding events give you pause. At the same time, the safety of 200 people, including many children, hangs in the balance, which makes the outcome even more tense.

Final Thought

Hijack Season 2 makes you think about Sam and his character. The cinematography, sound, and acting are the highlights, and even with some familiar moments, the season keeps you hooked. While Season 1 was stronger and you often question the need for this season, it’s still an enjoyable watch.
