Hey Prabhu Season 1 (MxPlayer) Story :-
Young Tarun Prabhu (Rajat Barmecha) lands a position at a prestigious magazine but quickly falls out of favor with the editor and gets fired. Struggling to impress his love interest in bed, he faces failure there as well. At home, his mother is growing increasingly frustrated with his poor behavior and burgeoning drinking problem. As a minor Twitter celebrity, Tarun now needs to find real-life solutions to his mounting issues.

Hey Prabhu Season 1 (MxPlayer) Review :-
Episode 1
Tarun starts working at Croissant, a print magazine led by the formidable Mita. His mother hopes this job will prompt him to mature. However, after engaging in some risqué sexting, Tarun makes a blunder on the magazine’s headline issue on his very first day. Later that night, he also struggles to impress the alluring Karishma in bed.
Episode 2
Mita discovers Tarun’s mistake on her cherished magazine and is furious. To make matters worse, her dog Hari goes missing, which disrupts her completely. Despite Arunima’s advice, Tarun aggravates Mita further, leading her to decide to fire him. Meanwhile, Tarun’s mother is upset that he didn’t come home the previous night.
Episode 3
Mita assigns Tarun menial tasks and instructs him to shadow Arunima. However, Tarun and Arunima clash and end up arguing. At home, Tarun’s mother is stunned to discover condoms in his bag and demands that he delete his tweet about the incident. Tarun also learns that a trending embarrassing hashtag is actually about him.
Episode 4
Tarun discovers that Karishma’s friend is behind the embarrassing hashtag and confronts him. Later, he gets drunk with his office colleagues, and despite his attempt at revenge sex with Karishma, he fails. Charminar, a Twitter celebrity, begins to suspect that Tarun is responsible for the hashtag. In a drunken state, Tarun argues with his mother and decides to move out of the house.

Episode 5
Tarun recalls sending a scandalous tweet while drunk but can’t locate it. Mita reprimands him for posting an article from a rival magazine on Croissant’s feed, which Arunima had spotted and deleted. Tarun expresses his gratitude to Arunima for her help, and they begin to grow closer. However, Arunima soon confesses that she is aware of the embarrassing hashtag Tarun was trying to conceal.
Episode 6
Tarun moves out of his family home, despite his parents’ concerns about his detachment. To mend their relationship, Arunima shares a personal secret with Tarun. They share a passionate moment, but Tarun hesitates and pulls away. Meanwhile, Tarun’s mother informs him that she doesn’t want him to return home. Arunima surprises Tarun with a visit to his new apartment.
