The film opens with a gritty voiceover from our protagonist, setting the tone before plunging into a chain of events that ignite the chaos to come. Drenched in dark tones and brutal imagery, it quickly makes clear this isn’t a film for the faint-hearted. As the action ramps up, expect relentless shootouts, blood-soaked encounters, and high-stakes survival, with the lead and his loyal sidekick somehow dodging death at every turn.
When it comes to the plot, it barely holds together—sacrificed almost entirely to make room for endless action sequences. It’s as if the storyline was cast aside to let bullets fly with reckless abandon, only pausing when a key character is inconveniently close to death. If the narrative starts to feel hollow, it’s worth remembering: this film wears its “action” label loud and proud.
As for the thriller element, it falls flat. The mystery unravels far too early, with body language giving away secrets long before the script does. The lack of suspense is a major letdown for a film that hints at deeper intrigue. Still, the action delivers—amplified by some truly impressive work from the make-up department.
