Happy Gilmore 2 (Netflix) Review :-
Happy Gilmore 2 brings back its beloved character by leaning heavily into nostalgia while also hinting at emotional growth. Adam Sandler once again embodies Happy with his signature goofy energy and physical comedy. Julie Bowen’s return as Virginia Venit adds a touch of tenderness amid the chaos, grounding the film’s absurdity with genuine warmth.
The sequel is filled with sentimental nods to the original, featuring cameo appearances from Christopher McDonald’s Shooter McGavin, Ben Stiller, and real-life golf legends like Rory McIlroy and Jack Nicklaus. While these guest spots add fun moments, they occasionally disrupt the pacing. Newcomers like Benny Safdie bring a quirky charm as Happy’s caddy, and Travis Kelce surprises with his charismatic small role. The film’s tone shifts between slapstick humor and thoughtful reflection, tackling themes of grief, legacy, and how Happy’s competitive nature shapes his approach to parenting.
Happy Gilmore 2 (Netflix) Trailor :-
Where the film stumbles is in its crowded second half and heavy reliance on callbacks. The middle portion drags under the weight of cameos and uneven subplots. Some jokes feel recycled, and the emotional moments don’t always land as strongly as they should. Still, the production is polished, the screenplay hits its sentimental notes when it counts, and Sandler’s charm remains front and center. The film functions more as a loving tribute than a reinvention—comfortable, occasionally awkward, but often heartfelt.
“Happy Gilmore 2” is now streaming on Netflix.
