Graveyard Season 2 (Netflix) Review :-
There’s something deeply unsettling about watching a group of detectives attempt to solve brutal crimes against women while also grappling with their own personal issues. It’s a gripping watch that will stir your emotions, leaving you both furious and, at times, offering a sense of relief. This season, Netflix presents longer episodes, allowing us to dive deeper into the story without feeling rushed.
Each episode has its highs and lows, with moments that surprisingly tug at the heartstrings. The series largely rests on Birce Akalay’s stellar performance, and she doesn’t disappoint. Whether playing a detective fighting for justice or a journalist, she’s captivating. The storyline is filled with unexpected twists and highlights the ongoing unfair practices still present in Turkey.

The first story revolves around the mysterious suicide of a young girl, leading the Special Unit team down a shocking trail that reaches the highest levels of society. In episodes 3 and 4, a doctor is stabbed during a brawl with the family of a chronically ill girl, but there appears to be a link to a fraudulent holistic health clinic. In episodes 5 and 6, the discovery of a severed leg at the Graveyard sparks a frantic search for the killer and the rest of the body, but with an increasing list of suspects, who could be responsible for this woman’s death? The final story brings a mix of new and old crime cases… will the truth finally come to light?

Graveyard is executed exceptionally well, with high production quality and deeply developed characters, making it a compelling watch. While it’s not overly twisted or disturbing, it offers a complex yet engaging and emotional experience. The series strikes a perfect balance between being both entertaining and moving, often blurring the lines between the personal and professional lives of the detectives. It does a fantastic job of weaving together different storylines, skillfully connecting the professional cases with personal elements that enhance the narrative.
Graveyard Season 2 (Netflix) Trailor :-
The standout aspect of this series is its powerful stance against corruption and the injustices perpetuated by those close to the investigators. Önem was brought in to challenge the long-standing flaws in Turkey’s justice system, and she, along with her team, continues to battle against these powerful figures. There’s something truly inspiring about their fight, and I appreciated how the team isn’t perfect—yet their differences become their greatest strength. The outstanding performances from the cast only enhance the impact of the story.
Final Thought
Graveyard Season 2 is highly engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. While the stories will tug at your heartstrings, the detectives’ journey will leave you feeling a deep sense of satisfaction. With exceptional performances across the board, this Turkish crime series is the perfect binge-watch.
