Ghudchadi (Jiocinema) Review :-

Director Binnoy K Gandhi’s film weaves together love stories and family dynamics in a romantic drama that treads familiar ground. The narrative, from the story and character development to the conflict and resolution, remains predictable. The premise of Chirag (Parth Samthaan) and his girlfriend Devika’s (Khushalii Kumar) parents, Colonel Veer Sharma (Sanjay Dutt) and Menaka (Raveena Tandon), rekindling their romance and the complications that follow is initially intriguing. However, as the story unfolds, these issues are resolved in a clichéd and melodramatic fashion.

Ghudchadi (Jiocinema) Story, Review, Trailer, Release Date, Songs, Cast

The film’s central conflicts—inter-community romance and unconventional family dynamics—are resolved through convenient plot twists that feel far-fetched. When Veer brings Menaka home as his fiancée, his orthodox mother, Kalyani Devi (Aruna Irani), leaves to stay with a relative. The narrative struggles to integrate scenes of her mistreatment and the loneliness of old age smoothly. Although the film aims to explore progressive themes like love transcending societal norms, it relies on familiar tropes, which diminishes its impact.

As a first-time feature film director, Binnoy K Gandhi shows promise with a mostly steady pace. However, his direction would benefit from a more engaging story and a tighter, more nuanced script and screenplay.

Ghudchadi (Jiocinema) Trailor :-

Khushalii Kumar and Parth Samthaan deliver passable performances, though their natural chemistry is evident. Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt give commendable performances, while Aruna Irani’s portrayal of a loving yet stern matriarch comes across as exaggerated.

Although Ghudchadi is a pleasant watch, it falls short as a compelling entertainer. The story’s predictable twists prevent the audience from forming strong emotional connections. As a result, the film may not appeal to those seeking something fresh or deeply resonant.
