G20 (AmazonPrimeVideo) Review :-
Viola Davis plays a super soldier determined to take on anyone and anything in her way to save her family—and ultimately, the world. This action thriller follows the familiar trope of a U.S. president being targeted by ruthless criminals and emerging victorious against all odds, delivering the expected thrills and intense moments.

G20 is a forgettable and formulaic experience, offering little in terms of fresh or innovative content. The thrills are sparse, if they even exist at all, as the plot is predictable from the very start. From the moment the film begins, it ticks off all the familiar boxes of a standard action-thriller—nonstop gunfire and action sequences designed to hold our attention. But you know what? Despite its lack of originality, the performances inject enough energy to make it an enjoyable, albeit brief, watch.

The story itself offers little to write home about, leaving the entire weight of the film on Viola Davis’s remarkably strong shoulders. Watching her come up with clever solutions and tackle intense sequences with an unmatched confidence is a highlight. In a film that lacks substance or originality, Davis’s commanding presence draws your attention, making you invest in her and everything happening around her. While her character may not have much depth or intrigue, her performance is powerful enough to make you care and root for her every step of the way.
G20 (AmazonPrimeVideo) Trailor :-
The rest of the cast is largely overshadowed, as the writers have done little to make them stand out. With one-dimensional and repetitive roles, none of the characters have any real depth or personality. Antony Starr plays Rutledge, and while he was a standout in The Boys, here he’s reduced to a typical villain driven by money. We learn nothing about him, and frankly, we’re not meant to. He’s just a menacing figure with little more substance. Similarly, Serena Sutton fills the cliché role of the tech whiz, and her character is so formulaic that it’s almost painful to watch.
Final Thought
In G20, characters deliver clunky exposition at every turn, and the lackluster storyline and uninspired performances fail to leave a lasting impression. However, it’s Viola Davis who elevates the film, making it worth watching and earning our investment in her character despite the numerous flaws in the plot.
“G20” is now streaming on AmazonPrimeVideo.
