Ferry 2 (Netflix) Review :-
After losing everything in the previous episode, Ferry inexplicably dives back into the dangerous world of gangsters. When Jezebel reappears in his life, he abandons any semblance of normalcy he had tried to establish and falls back into his old habits. This reckless decision fits with Ferry’s character—unpredictable, irresponsible, and with a penchant for chaos.

The story takes a familiar path but with a group of inexperienced kids, which turns Ferry into the more mature figure this time around. It’s bizarre and chaotic, yet moves at a breakneck pace with a certain innocence that feels refreshing. Yes, the irony is not lost, considering they’re making ecstasy, but well, it is what it is. Viewers can’t help but root for this group of misfits to escape the mess they’re in, despite the drug-fueled outcomes.
The tender moments between Jezebel and Ferry are heartfelt and relatable. When they’re not involved in drug-making or trying to kill each other, their interactions are light and sweet, making you wonder what their lives could’ve been like under different circumstances. Lammers and Beemsterboer share great chemistry, looking endearing as the mentor and mentee duo.

The film also brings some twists and betrayals, including characters confronting their pasts. There are emotional moments that long-time viewers of the series will appreciate. However, it mainly highlights the characters’ consistent lack of good decision-making and the reckless way some of them live their lives. The rivalry between Ferry and Dennis remains a compelling aspect of the film, and Lars, as the antagonist, delivers a strong performance. He’s threatening without being over-the-top, which adds a layer of tension and excitement to the story.
Ferry 2 (Netflix) Trailor :-
Ferry 2 is an enjoyable, fast-paced thriller that serves as a light watch for those seeking entertainment. Frank Lammers excels in the role of the titular character, capturing him perfectly. Jezebel, however, comes across as frustrating and unstable for much of the film, though her presence does create the unnecessary complications that keep the plot moving. While the action sequences are fun, the film lacks real suspense, and there’s little that viewers won’t be able to predict from the outset.
Final Thought
Ferry 2 concludes on a strangely bittersweet note, leaving me to wonder where it fits within the larger universe. The film is entertaining, though somewhat predictable and convenient. There are a few heartfelt moments that are sure to tug at your heartstrings. Overall, the film delivers exactly what it aims to be, and that’s what matters most.
“Ferry 2” is now streaming on Netflix.
