Fantastic Story:-
This show delivers on its promises right from the first episode. You meet all the characters, get a sense of what’s to come, and most importantly, the tone is set. It’s a blend of campiness and melodrama, a unique mix that seems to be mastered only by K-Dramas. There’s silliness alongside serious issues, showing that more than just cancer can be life-threatening. Public opinion and loveless marriages can also take a toll, damaging confidence and self-worth, slowly eroding the soul. Many characters in the show are struggling, but by coming together and connecting with others who offer positive life experiences, they find healing.

Overall, it was alright. It didn’t evoke strong feelings of love or hate; it was just comfortable enough to keep me watching until the end. The main couple, a drama writer diagnosed with cancer and a goofy struggling actor, were cute, but not particularly memorable. The more intriguing romance was that of a confident young woman turned into a doormat by her marriage to a wealthy, political family. Her journey to self-rescue was empowering, aided by the love of a hot young prosecutor and the support of her friends.
Special mention goes to the lovable doctor fighting terminal illness. While the romance didn’t captivate me, the bromance between the goofy actor and the doctor was heartwarming. Their friendship blossomed beautifully, helping them both grow as individuals. Plus, Kim Tae-Hoon’s presence added an unusual charm to the show, enhancing its appeal.
In conclusion, it’s nothing extraordinary, but it’s not something to avoid either. It’s just what it is, a decent watch that won’t leave a lasting impression but provides some entertainment along the way.
